Hill Country Bows Harvest Master Pics
« on: September 07, 2007, 09:32:00 PM »
I received this bow today it is a prototype for the new Hill Country Bows Harvest Master. 58" 48@28 ActionBoo cores, Grey Elm Veneers stained to match the riser. The tips are Bocote and phenolic. The riser is Morado with Purple Heart strip. It sports a Fast Flite Plus sting.

Nice shooter with good speed, stable and dead in the hand. The Grey Elm is one nice looking veneer wood and the pictures don't do it justice.

Dave, that's the bow I helped glue up with Roman, the day I spent watching and helping what I could. You're right, that gray Elm is sweet. Good pics!

I also got to shoot that baby at the OSTA shoot last Saturday. Mine will be in production soon!!

Enjoy it bud!

I let the young woman next door shoot the bow from about 3 yards from the target(she hadn't shot since elementary school). She drew it much further than I would have guessed for 100#s and promptly put an arrow so hard into the stone wall that it bounced back and the nock end stuck into the back of the target. It surely has the Kenny spirit in it.    :biglaugh:

You boys did some nice work on this one Kenny.

Dave, nice bow...that last picture, the one of the limb, it looks like the wood grain would act as a nice camo.

I was fortunate enough to be able to use a Hill country bow by Roman to win the NFAA national outdoor 3d championship this year. I will be carrying a 3 pc takedown version  next week on an Elk hunt in Montana.
Flawless bows for sure

Good luck with the elk and your right the finish work is second to none. Very dead in the hand for such a light bow.
