And now for the rookie question  just put together a longbow out of ash, handle of oak and walnut  limbs are cut to 36" by  15/8" by  3/8" tapered and glued next handle was anded  after putting nock and then puting on tilling tree I am getting a Whopping 17# at 29" had I used three 1/8" lams glued together would the DW be greater or would it sill remain low I also went one sep farther and addedrecurve to the limb and to no avail the weight of the bow stayed abou the same .
