Ocala still has a ton of bears.  I saw fresh sign everytime I hunted there.  I actually stalked to within 5 yds of one, thinking he was a deer making noise in the thicket.  That was quite a surprise when a black bear waddled out. I haven't been in 2 years because the drive out there was killing me.  

There are pretty good deer numbers out there.  If you can find a fresh burn or clearcut look closer, they love that new growth.

Yeah it's a drive, but since I'm in Orlando, it's not much further than some other areas. Like I said, there's deer there. I saw deer at 9am, but that's probably cause it was a cool day and had that hazy sky. Also, a hell of a lot of those damn banana spiders, lol! Man I hate those things...
