I have been invited to hunt at Hanna, Ok.the 3rd. week of oct. will that be anywhere near the rut?

They might be bumping does checking but it wont be full blown till last week in oct through the first week of nov.

Chase phase of the rut should just be getting started at that time.
From our hunters observation data, (7 years worth for coal county), the highest number of buck sightings per hunt for the year peaks around November 9 in our area.

For me in southern Oklahoma I had more good bucks moving last year the 3rd week of oct last year than any other part of the year. Anything is possible!

I used to hunt the river near Hanna. Ton of deer and some really good bucks.
