Good job.  I always love watching a good dog work.  Your daughter gets extra points for saying "ventricle".     :)

Congratulations to you and Molly!!
My wire, Albert, is a menace to wounded deer! Every time I have seen him on a trail he simply amazed me. Your experience highlights why every state should permit tracking dogs for the purpose of game recovery.

Great job Ted & Molly!  I love the video of Molly & Her deer.  My two Dachshund (Tilly & Cash) will come back and try to bite me in the leg if I slow the tracking job too much while marking the trail  :)

A few years back we had a deer hit by a car that ran up a Tenico gas pipe line right away behind our house.  Cash smelled it, broke through the Invisible Fence with her electronic collar on, and was gone.  My wife couldn't find her and Cash wouldn't respond to calling her.  So Molly took the other dogs out and they all found Cash sitting on the dead deer just as pleased as could be. They are amazing little dogs with "little man" attitudes when it comes to tracking.

I have been wanting a wire hair for several years but we are dog poor right now with six. Several in their older years. When I looked into it, they were hard to find.  Great story

I truly enjoyed your story. Nice job.
I'm going to attempt to forward this to my friend who has two curly coated dachsies he has trained to blood trail.
