Yes I have.  And have been fortunate to make a few good friends through those deals.

Just did one this month. Went smooth as silk,  and I love the bow I ended up with.  Good communication on both our parts.

Yes I have made many trades, most went very smooth, I have had two that the packaging left much to be desired.

I will probably get yelled at for this but it sure seems like a lot of flawless transaction comments, so why do we have to pay to even see the classifieds. Ridiculous if you ask me.

I never used the classifieds on this trade. I knew he had the Shelton and he knew I had the CAT. Through reading many other threads I got the sense he might not like Hill styles and planted a seed that if he ever wanted to part with the Shelton I knew of a bow he might want in trade. It's more about getting to know one another than simply swapping bows through a classifieds advertisement. That's more than a price tag can buy. That's what tradgang is about. Not classifieds ads.

I do appreciate the comment about packaging a bow well. bow loving man had his in a nice very thick and rigid cardboard tube with lots of internal padding. And the PO didn't muff it up in either direction.

Yes trad archers are a good bunch. Bought, sold and traded bows on trad gang and also the other trad archery sites and never had a problem or regrets always a fair deal. Just wish more people would take Paypal.

I had a fellow ask me if I could do paypal once.  It could have been the thunderstorm, but I did not trust my computor to run well enough, it kept crashing and finally would not restart. I am pretty certain that the broken communications upset him. I do have a nice old recurve that I need to turn into a left hand bow. I gave away two really nice bows already this year and my wife says it is time to slow me down a bit, I bet she would not mind a trade.
