I wouldn't say plain Jane at all.  I think it looks great.  I love that you can see the edges outside the black glass.  Great looking bow.

Taipan was the R/D bow I wanted they are so cool and the looks remind me of elburgs Cherokees for some reason but I never shot a Taipan.

his bows are so cool if it shoots better than my vixen I'm even more impressed..

Zane - The limbs of the Taipan are trapped out on the belly side. That reduces mass weight therefore allowing the limbs to recover quicker and produce increased cast among other things.

Jerry - Looks like you've been a Berry fan for quite some time. Nice stable of bows you have listed.

i have had my taipan for 7 years now. and that says alot. lol i used to trade alot. but this is one bow that will never go anywhere. since having this one made i have acquired several jd berry longbows. all the same amazing quality, and attention to detail.  im sure your taipan will give u years of good use. as mine has me. I am so jealous of the black glass though sir  :)

Ric, I am a fan... I actually have a few more that I have not listed.  James puts his full self into every bow he builds... you have a one of a kind masterpiece.  Enjoy that bow.

Beautiful bow Danny. I can't wait to get my new one from Mr. Berry. He said he is going to do a few special things to mine as well, he is quite the fellow. I love his bows.

Keith -
Yes I do remember that pic. I won't say that you are to "blame", but you certainly made a  contribution!    :bigsmyl:    The Taipan is an awesome bow.
