new bow-Cascade Archery-BrushHawk/w pics

Hey fellow trad gang, well! I finally went ahead and ordered a new bow, I am a recurve guy but have always wanted a longbow but there just hard to lug around in the thick woods up here in interior Alaska, so I kept my eye open for a shorter "long bow" and I found exactly what I was looking for at Cascadebows , me and Steve talked about what I wanted and immediately, he said I just the now for you.
So a few days ago I received my package from Cascade and pulled on out my beautiful Brushhawk at only 56 inches it fits the bill of what I wanted, now I have not shot it too much yet or tuned arrows so im not sure if im a longbow guy yet but boy ill tell you its a beauty and fine craftsmanship. we will see how she does.

Awesome!  Short bows are my fav!  Where in the Interior you at?  I was born and raised on the Kenai Peninsula myself!   Sure miss it but I don't think I could handle the cold anymore with 2 metal hips lol

They are nice little bows. Smooth draw and feels like it draws a several pounds lighter than it actually is.
