You'll get a ton of different opinions, but I'll throw mine in there...

Predator Brown or Gray if you want 2D, or leafy wear for 3D camo.  I have had nothing but positive results with these in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina (very similar to NC).

Good luck!

I am in South Carolina and while still green or if in pines mostly predator deception green....or brown if lots of deciduous trees.

then again I wear my green or brown plaids anywhere I want....

I would not stress camo pattern but rather if you are dressing cool enough....if you are from Alaska then you likely will be in t-shirt and moccasins hunting here in November. LOL

jhonnyk71= I sould really look at that ASAT camo I wouldn't wear it here but down there is a different world to me.
@-Brock - I didn't think about the temp at all..I will definitely be hot unless its 10 or below..lol well I can still buy most camo in long sleeve shirts and thin breathable pants! I hope : /

I agree with johnnyk71......ASAT leafy camo.  That's what I use and I live in NC.

honestly...if I was you...bring a pair of medium weight pants or some wool pants...your favorite shirt for spring hunting up in alaska and an extra layer just in case....as you could run the gamut from 75* to 30* depending part of North Carolina and what the latest cold front or offshore storm has in store.  For example in 70s/60s this week but this weekend going to be 60s/40s.  For me with my hot weather acclimated southern tail...that means the wool plaid shirt, wool pants or atleast medium weight earth tone pants.

like i said..that will be warm to you so prepare for what you would consider warm weather and I would not worry about camo pattern so much as long as it has bold patterns..plaid, mossy oak, real tree, predator, asat...no difference in big scheme in my opinion.

Come with your regular clothes and some light-medium weight stuff....if it is colder then go to walmart and spend $40 if you need it on a fleece jacket....if not then you are good to go.

Forecasting 28* in a few nights. Unusually cold for this time.

If you hunt with me Chris I have a spare leafy suit. Green based camo is all that's needed and the wind in your face. I had a button buck beneath me tonight and was wearing leafy bottom, fleece camo top, camo face cover with camo makeup around the eye area and hands. I let him pass for another year. Hope anyone else seeing him this year does the same.

I'm 6' and 230lbs. I wear XL and in some things L.

AKnative...hunting is pretty good...not a lot of huge deer but a good density of deer.  season runs from 15 august through 1 january without a break for all legal weapons on private land along coast in my game zone (6).  Turkey season is 15 mar through 1 May if I remember right...so that wont be happening.

hogs, coyotes, deer for now....small game and furbearers come 15 Nov through March.

A lot depends on where your hunting.
Always best to pick a color/pattern that match your background
Up against a tree black/grey
In foilage green/black
In corn  brown black

But camo is only part of the game, drawing with the least amount of motion is the biggest thing.

any leafy dark camo pattern, and ps, you should be here already for deer, it starts to slow down then.
