Swarovski Bino Deal
« on: October 22, 2013, 07:59:00 PM »
Went into an LL Bean Outlet store near me today.  They had 30% off hunting clothes & gear that was already on sale for about 30% off.  Not a big deal as their hunting clothes will usually go to 50-70% off at the end of the season.

As I was looking around, I found two pair of Swarovski binoculars that were on sale + the additional 30% off.  I will occasionally see a few Swarovski binos on sale but usually not marked down further.

1)  Swarovski Optic SLC 8X30 NEU for $700

2)  Swarovski Optic EL 8X32 WB for $1014     ($2,159.99 @ Cabelas)

I bought both of them thinking someone here might be interested. These are new backed by LL Bean & Swarovski.  Not worried about not selling them as Beans has an unconditional return policy...tippit

Man, that is a smoking deal! Wish I had the funds.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

I bought my SLC 8X30 Swarovski's at that price in 1999 as it was a good price back then. Mine are always around my neck when I am bow hunting under my jacket where they do not interfere with my shooting. They are worth every penny.

I sent you an email on the EL's.  Are they HD glass?

Tip pit, good thinking and good on ya! Not many would of thought to do something like that.
I already own swarvo 7x30s and 10x42s or I would buy them both from you immediately. Deals like you found are rare and I like many people seem to arrive a day late and a dollar short. To hear that a person took advantage of the deal to pass it on to others is a top shelf indicator or a top notch guy.
Thanks.

I've been at a Veterinary CE meeting all day and now the Red Soxs are starting the World Series.  In between innings...8X32 EL is gone. Still have the 8X30 SLC binos.

8X30 SLC are also sold.  I didn't post these in the Binos, Spotting Scopes, Tree Stands, and Blinds Forum cause I wasn't so much trying to sell them as pass along what I thought was a good deal.  They sold for my actual cost and I included a copy of my visa slip so the new owners would have proof of purchase.  I'm glad they are going to be used for more than watching birds  :)   tippit
