Butterfield Brute broadheads
« on: October 24, 2013, 09:14:00 AM »
Anybody know anything about the maker of these heads and what happened to the business?  I know that they were made into the mid 70's or so and that there were several versions, mainly straight blades (more like a Magnus I) and a rounded version (more like a Silver flame or smaller Deadhead).  I have been using the rounded version for years now and really like them.

What happened to Mr. Butterfield and the business ?  Heck, are there piles of unfinished heads laying around ?

I sure wouldn't mind finding another dozen or two to last me thru my hunting life time.

Try a search on it .. you should find some info. I have a few ,,,My understanding is they were make by a shop teacher and his students for years at Cornell high school.
