Texas Ebony ?
« on: September 10, 2007, 08:58:00 AM »
Does anyone have a good place to get Texas Ebony reliably?  We had one board and made some beautiful bows from it.  Now I would like to stock it regularly.

Mike,You may want to talk with Bob Morrison, he's used it on several of his risers and they were beauties.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Mike,
Alamo Hardwoods in San Antonio usually has some in stock. It is a tough wood to work with, but pretty.
