Goose fletch!
This was a week ago in Michigan.  This picture was taken after the rain, sleet, snow and hail - yes, pea sized hail - had moved through.  It moved through and turned into a nice evening.

These goose fletchings are awesome.  They were ready but no deer showed up...oh well, was a pretty neat hunt.  I watched large groups of sandhill cranes congregate for the evening.

Love the way that water beaded up on those fletchings Colin.  Been buying so many Turkey feathers from Matt I have overlooked the Goose.  No more!

I got a bunch I had him grind.  Now I just need some time to get a chopper and get them on some arrows.

I could have used them this year given it has blown and rained most of the days I have been able to hunt. got rained on yesterday and again today.

That's awesome! Are they as durable as turkey feathers?

They are more durable than commercial feathers and a close second to natural turkey primaries IMO.
