I have one and I like it.  I made up a post out of a hardwood rake handle to replace the metal one.  It is lighter and quieter.  I got mine when they had a flood sale and it was about $30.00 I think.

I have one as well and love it for short sits.  Anything more than a couple hours and it starts to dig in to the back of my legs and I have to move around a bit to get comfy.

I've had one for years, part of the kit, doesn't really get that much use, but I'm keeping it.  Agree with EHK, short rest and sit time, easy to pack along, not a hour or more kind of sit seat at least for me.

I've used one for 15 or so years.  bought it out of the NWTF mag.  Its great in a popup blind.

When I ground hunted more it was my GO TO seat. I think the most adaptable common sense ground seat made. Killed a lot of deer and other critters off it. The advantages to me is it's not a tree seat thus requiring a tree to use, it's relatively light weight, durable, it's single post design requires "something" to lean back on IMHO but that can be a stump,a blown down tree, a rock, a tree etc. It doesn't require level ground is another bonus.

I actually found it to be the most comfortable seat. I believe where everyone musses up is sitting on it with the single pole vertical or plum to the ground. Actually finding the sweat spot so it's angled back towards what ever you leaning against is the trick. It can be very comfortable then. Then when game approaches you can lean it forward and rotate or spin for the shot angle. I will say the price is quite high now as to what I paid for it way back when. But I ask you have you ever seen one for sale used? Me either.

I use one regularly. I take when even when I am treestand hunting. If the wind goes wrong, I can climb down and sit somewhere else comfortably. I have sat 4 hours on mine with no problem. Excellent quality, very compact.

Get them now. I believe when his inventory is gone, he is done.

When I know which clump of cover I am heading for, I use a Huntmor.  If I am still hunting, I always take the Nifty Seat, a guys gotta stit down every so often. I did blow a shot at a buck a couple of years ago from mine. I had a disc problem and I was very stiff. When I turned to shoot I had to give up my tree back rest. It was more painful than I expected. The spike was in soft sand and I flopped over on my my back. They are more compfortable than most downed trees to sit on. I have a butt pad that I tie to my belt, it makes things just a bit more comfy. I carry mine assembled with a stretchy beltwrapped around the shaft and through the seat, which keeps it horizontal on my draw arm side.
