I think mine is fantastic. I just got it and have only shot a few arrows but so far I can't complain at all. Beautiful wood and excellent design and craftsmanship.

That said, the grip puts my hand too high to shoot off the shelf. The web of my palm is above the shelf the way the grip naturally places my hand. Not a big deal and happens with a lot of bows with my freakish big meathooks. In fact most of my bows have elevated rests for this very reason. This one has a Bear weather rest because I'm out of feather rests for the moment and Trap's are worth waiting for.

I've had mine about 2 months. I went with the black limbs and charcoal riser and really like the looks of it. The workmanship is great, it's smooth, pretty quiet, and fast.  The only issue I've had with it is really my issue and not the bows.  I have pretty small hands and the grip doesn't exactly fit me like a glove.  It's taken me a little while to get used to it and find what works for me, but when I get it right, it really shoots!

I've had mine for 2 years and love it. Smooth, no stacking, and fast. I put a different string on it and I think the one that came with it was quieter. Being able to get different limbs is a plus also. I have 50# limbs now but have thought about going heavier while I'm young enough and strong enough.

I have a predator hunter, 46 @ 28. The bow can shoot with the best of them. Mine likes a bit of a heavier arrow.

Go for it. Where in NY are you. Maybe we can get together and you can try mine out.
