I can't wait for the 2014 3D shoots to start, I have a group of 6 buddies that I have converted to stick bows for 3D shoots. They are having so much fun, I get a kick out of listening to them say the same things they used to make fun of me over. "good line" etc. things you say when you miss or hit a bad part of foam.

Every new guy I have gotten to go shoot 3D with a stick with me has said something like this at the end of the day - "Wow, that is the most fun I have ever had on a 3D course! I can't wait till next weekend to do this again."

Way to go with getting your buddies into trad shooting!

We sure do have fun, but some of those guys are natural shooters, and have put me to shame a few times, which adds to the fun!

What is TGMM Family of the Bow?

On a poor shot when you hit on the edge of the target. You holler "nice catch target"

I just might use that one! Hope I don't need to though.  I am getting ready to take the longbow out during rifle season, sit up against a tree and set up the "ambush".

Hey John!

Bringing my son Elyjah the last few years has renewed my interest in shoots. See you there.

well I can tell ya this...I have not shot mine much yet, because I need to get the proper arrows...but the close knit family feel I am picking up here, and the 'tradition' and overall environment I feel here...I am sure happy I made the jump finally! I am reading all I can, studying peoples forms on shooting videos, and soaking up everything I possibly can. I cannot wait to get some arrows and start shooting this thing!

and thanks for the book, videos, and other stuff you hooked me up with dirtybird...your the man! ...just don't let your head get too big, lol...j/k, thank you brother, it is good to have a true friend like you are, not many of those around! cant wait to shoot some 3D traditional style this year, and hit those traditional expos you always tell me about!
