Getting my nephew a bow?
« on: November 18, 2013, 12:54:00 PM »
I'm looking to get my nephew a bow for Christmas. He is 11 but he looks about 13. Any suggestions on what bow I should get him?

Depends on what you want to spend.  I bought my son (now 10) a Black Rhino and he now has a Dryad Phoenix Lite.  Both are great bows for kids.  The Dryad is definitely on the high end and will be a great bow for him to grow into.

I hear great things about Mad Dog bows as well.

If he looks 13 you may want to consider a Man sized bow he can grow into. So many options really need to figure out budget first!

Perhaps one of the Samick bows that you can buy heavier limbs for as he grows.
