I had one of those on my pro harness,, they are too noisy!  get some rope with 2 karabiners and use the same set up that came on the seat of the pants.....  or bring extra rope with a loose loop in it and using a truckers hitch tie on the tree and leave there till the stand comes down,,,,,, on your harness just leave one karabiner and snap on when you get there .... like the pic above.

I use hockey tape on all metal so I wrap all metal parts that don't move with hockey tape for zero noise.

Agtech.  Mine uses the Prussic knot etc. The main line ends in a loop of maybe 5" diameter.  The loop end goes around the tree, the loose end, with Prussic assembly gets tucked thru the loop and pulled tight. Exactly as shown above. Couldn't get any simpler.  I tied a knot in the end of the main rope, just in case the Prussic slips (I worry too much).

Go to a outdoor store that specializes in climbing.  Get a knowledgeable sales guy to fix you up with a climbing harness and rope.  Explain your need to be roped in while climbing also.

Thanks for every ones help. I think I got it figured out. I tried pushing the prussics all the way up and self locking the loop, I wasn't 100% sold, but it did seem much better. Thanks for all the help and offers guys .
