Need a little education...what is the story with their risers and limbs?  Will any riser fit any set of limbs?  If not what is the combo?

Yes; all risers fit all limbs in the Cheyenne series, and all risers fit all limbs in the Shawnee series, but Shawnee and Cheyenne do not mix/match; there is an explanation chart on the website, but the site is under construction.

If you go to "site index", you may be able to pull it up under "chart".  It will show you what riser and what limb combo make what length bow.

The new Cheyenne limbs will also fit his old T/D risers from what I understand. Shawn

That is correct.  I have an older T/D Riser with the newer Cheyenne Limbs and the fit is perfect.

Trust me when I say this.  Anything you get from bob is some of the best.  He makes great bows, Wonderful  person to deal with.  You just can't go wrong with the man!  I do think the cheyenne is a more forgiving bow, the deflex in the riser.  I have both .  But you can't get longbow limbs for the cheyenne.

THe reason I ask is based on all the sales in the Trad Bow section.  Everyone is either selling limbs OR a riser.  THanks for all the great input.  You guys are a blessing....

Cheyennes will ONLY take Cheyenne limbs.
Shawnees will take Arapaho, Cougar and Dakota limbs.
The ILF will take all brands of ILF.

I think I read on Bob's website that he can modify limbs to fit any riser. If you desired.
