Yeah, I was afraid of that. My main claim to fame is my pig hunting. I've taken plenty with guns, which is fun, but nothing will beat hunting pigs with my bow. I'd like to up my odds of a fast and humane kill with a hefty head, and somewhere in the 200+ range was my starting point. I'd like to try an Ashby style head, and those can be hefty I think. In the end, point weight may be the smartest all-around route to take. I found the heavy weight test kits on 3 Rivers, i'll see how these 200's work and then dig into that. Like I said, I'm close, I think in the end I'll be ok. Just freaked a little at the change. I found that some people recommended an 8" brace for the bow so I did that, and a little less cant to the bow brought them under a degree of control. Some more weight up front should dial it in better I think. And I agree, it is SO refreshing to see such a helpful forum. I have not encountered one snide or bitter remark. This is truly a group of upstanding folks who have been so helpful. Thank you all again for the help and the generous offers.
