Bob Lee Ultimate
« on: December 01, 2013, 11:39:00 AM »
I'm on the fence. I'm from Ohio so I can't stop by the shop. I've shot a Bob Lee bow awhile back and I thought it shot very well. I spoke with JJ at Bob Lee, and he said he would make me one and if I'm not happy, send it back.  Wowww, now that's some confidence in your product.

So is the price tag worth it?  Would like to hear from some owners or anyone that has shot one. Thanks.

It shoots great.  The limb attachment is easy and solid and I think it performs better that the previous system.  Lot of $, but if I was going to buy another, no doubt it would be the ultimate.

The bob lee is a sweet bow as u can see I have a few of them lol. You can't beat the offer JJ offered u. I like the bob lee handles that have the phenolic in them to me they are heavier and I like a little heavier bow makes me more stable. I'll be ordering a new one after christmas. There customer service is awesome and can make u a bow in a few weeks not a year like some other bowyers. Can't beat a lee.

Whatever they say they will do. That's just the quality of people they are.

I had a BL takedown longbow and I foolishly sold it.  One of the few bows I regret parting with.  The do it right.

I have an Ultimate, B.L. T.D. L.B., B.L. T.D. Recurve, B.L. one piece recurve, and a couple of other brands. The ultimate is the best shooting one out the bunch, for it's poundage it also out performs all the others. I put an SBD string on it and it quiet the bow up a lot, really like the bow. Good luck with your decision!

Great Bows! And you would be hard pressed to find a better bow for the price. Look into the TallTines too!
