Leathersmith sidekick quiver

looking for a quiver to be used for 3d and range shooting
I have one question concerning the sidekick quiver from leather smith
when putting back arrow in it won't you mess up the feathers by rubbing them on the arrows in the quivers already
unless you take off the quiver and put your arrow from the top?
thanks

I have the sidekick and you are correct. The feathers get ruffled a little when putting an arrow back but then I use 5-1/2 hi backs. It is better than any quiver that uses a flecthing cover in my opinion but that wouldn't be necessary for your intended use. Steve makes a hip quiver that has individual pockets for 5 arrows if that is enough and it works well keeping the fletchings seperated. I believe the sidekick can be had without the fletch covered portion making it shorter and lighter. I have 3 of his quivers the two mentioned and a back quiver and you can expect excellent craftsmanship if you decide his offerings fit your needs.

Never had a problem with mine; I just reach around and put the arrows in from the top without removing the quiver.

I have one of the 5 arrow hip quivers that keeps the arrows seperate.. Also one of the 3 arrow pocket quivers for broadheads... They are virtually unused as I have gone to a back quiver ---- . I need to move 'em

the one I am looking at is the one that does not have a fletching cover
but still when putting back the arrow from the same opening that you took it from I think will ruffle the feathers like
58 winters mentioned
so swamp yankee you put the arrow back from the top like a regular quiver?….. whit ease?
