True enough, James. I forget that Cheney and ML always have more snow that here in the Spokane R. valley.  Banana belt down in here!

I think it's time to get my indoor range up and running.

Pavan, I can remember some wild moments chasing my buddies Angus bull on a dirt bike - trying to get him back through a hole in the fence... only something that a 17 year old would try... unsuccessfully, I might add.

Arrow Flynn - I have made plenty of promises to myself about no more Berry bows... none of them have stuck very well. LOL - I am still without a Misty Dawn... We'll see where that goes   :)

Man.....good fortune came my way this week. Through a series of unexpected events, A North Star 68" 56@29 is headed my way from Mudd's state. Should have my hands on it tomorrow!

Went over and picked up my Vixen last monday,66" 60@29". What a beauty. Put 10-12 arrows through it when I got home, man what a rocket. Haven't got it set up yet as Iam still hunting with my Morningstar but after Xmas I plan on putting it through it's paces. For those on list,it's worth the wait just wish I had found these bows 20 years ago.

"just wish I had found these bows 20 years ago"

I agree completely, Mike!  in fact, I wish I would have discovered hunting w/a longbow 20 years ago!

Glad you love your Vixen!  Truly a classic bow.

My Vixen accounted for two whitetails this year - 26 and 23 yards.  I'm visiting James in about a month so no telling what I'll be shooting in 2014 - but it will have to be one heck of a shooter to surpass my Vixen

Happy Holidays Jerry, you know Iam blaming you for my new addiction. If you wouldn't have let me shoot yours, I would still be old, dumb, and unenlightened.

Dave, If James doesn't have a Morningstar for you to shoot I can bring mine over for you to try. Have to go by Cabela's so It wont be any bother.  ;)

Thanks Lone Hunter..... I wish I could bring my bow but I am going to have to rely on James having plenty for me to shoot.  Since he lives within walking distance of my daughters, I may be making frequent visits to his shop... probably not a good habit for the billfold :-)
