wood adaptors

Does any one know if any manufacturer produce a steel 11/32" oversert to use screw in point for wood. All I have found are aluminum ones and I can't even find out what type of aluminum it is or if it is hardened.

Steel - never seen one.  The aluminum is 2011 not hardened
