LOOK OUT, TEXAS!
« on: December 11, 2013, 07:15:00 AM »
You have been invaded! Dragon Rider, who also answers to Paul Kimbol, especially at chow time, has departed the Keystone State to be with his children and grandsons. He and his bride, Lois, have set up housekeeping in Cedar Park. I'm sure he'll be looking for a place to shoot. Just stand behind him or in front of the target, you'll be safe!
In all seriousness, you all just got one of the best men to ever cross my trail. Please make him welcome.

Holy Cow! Cedar Park is like 15 minutes from me. I sure hope he see this thread and we can get in touch while he is here.

Btw, I am one of the trad guys that hangs out at Double G archery in Georgetown. I am there nearly every day as long as I am not off hunting.

Welcome to TX, Paul, and I hope we can meet while you are here!

Cool....another trad shooter in Central Texas.  I hit Double G about once a week just to make sure they haven't buried old man Bisch yet.     :laughing:

If he's alive and in residence, we usually shoot.  Welcome to Texas and please come join us.

Paul is a rediculously nice and generous man.  Hunted with him 2 yrs ago in  KS.  That's a huge move! Good for him!

Paul, we will miss you on the East coast.

I hope you enjoy your family and keep a warm spot for me around the camp fire.

I am looking for an excuse to visit Texas again.

Enjoy  >>>::-------jg------------>>

Thanks, Guys.  We now live in Cedar Park - at this point surrounded by more cardboard boxes than I knew the universe held.

Definitely looking forward to shooting with you guys and learning about Texas hunting.  Not sure what Double G is yet, but hope to find out soon.

Thanks again.

Wife and I spend a month in Texas every winter but have to take  2 years off because she went back to work for insurance.  Will be back out there starting in 2016 for the winter.

Paul, take up flintknapping as Texas is one big piece of knapping rock, it is all over the place, LOL.  I come home with 5 gallon buckets of the stuff.
