Good to hear, David. He is young and in great shape so he should have no problems with form, etc.
Sorry you lost your deer last week. I lost one like that a few years ago and it was is a populated area. Those yotes know where the food is.

Very nice feather shape. Looks like Bears feathers. Your dye job looks really nice. What process did you use.

Hi Bill. A year ago I bought a Robertson Vision Falcon and shot it quite a bit. This fall I pretty much dedicated myself to trad.
I only took my compound out once. Wouldn't you know, the buck I hunted all fall stepped out at twenty yards!
Hunted the rest of the way with the Whip. I'm loving it!
Thanks Jon! I used food coloring. Found the process by searching here.
Soaked the feathers first in warm water and soap.
Rinsed with clean water.
Soaked in hot water and a splash of vinegar with the food coloring.
Placed them on a paper towel to dry.
Very simple!
