So we just opened up the Samick that I got her for the Holidays and it looks as if there is a slight twist to the limbs. The string is not riding in the groove as I would like to see on any bow much less a brand new one. I cannot tell if it is both limbs or just one but it is off on both ends. I know these are not the best quality and all and it is just a started bow but should it really look like this?

I have taken a picture but have no way to post it on here.

hanks,
James

Dont know where you bought it but  you should have no problem returning  the bow.
We've bought several and have never had a problem, but as many as they produce they will have defects due to the volume produced.
My brother still has a Sage, shoots better than some custom bows I've shot.
Hope you get it resolved.

Agree, purchased new the company should make it right by exchanging or refunding. I would be making a phone call and talking to a person.
shoot straight shoot often

The other thing is that it has a few nicks and scrapes on the limbs.  Nothing I would be concerned about as I no longer believe in pretty shiny bows and treat them as tools. I do not abuse them but also don't keep them like new.  Still, this one had two gouges on the bellow of one limb. It just looked like the finish work was not there.

Thanks,
James

I bought a Sage from Lancaster Archery that had twisted limbs. They replaced them quickly and with no hassle. I'm impressed with the bow.

Send it back and tell them to replace it or refund your money.
