Kodiak Special / Gold Tips /

I picked up a real nice 1956 Kodiak Special. Plan on using it this Spring for my turkey hunting bow.
Specs are #49@28 64" pretty sure there cut to center.
I draw 28" would I be looking for 3555/500 ? Leave full length ? I would like to shoot Bear Razorheads think there around 145 with the insert.
Would like to be around 9-10 gpp
Any help getting me in the ballpark is greatly appreciated
Thank You
Mike

Hi! I shoot 3555's from my Stalker (60" Wolverine XT), which is also 49@28. My draw, however, is only ~27".
Anyways, I run these arrows at 28.5" with a 145gr. field point and a 50gr. insert weight, and they fly spectacularly well. I would imagine they should do the same for you; I think with the additional 50gr. weight, you should be able to get right near your target weight, as well!
Good luck!

definately 3555 probably around 30" but you really need to test before cutting and a 50g insert.
Should give you about 470g +-
good luck , bigjim
