Wild Things updated!
« on: January 05, 2014, 10:18:00 AM »
huntwildthings.com  has been updated with some post-renovation pictures and some more current information. Hopefully it gives folks a better idea what to expect at the new camp.

On the    schedule  page there has been a section added for past hunts that have good threads cooking over here on Trad Gang. That reminds me I still owe some camp stories on one of those threads.

Thanks to all the TG guys who shared their pictures for the update!
Thom

I feel honored  :)

When I crossed from the far side of the pond towards the camphouse I could've stood there for hours soaking in the serenity of the surroundings. I'm looking forward to going back.

Guys and gals if you go, take your fishing pole.

Thom,

Very nice. You don't make it any easier to wait for our upcoming hunt. I can't believe the transformation to the camp from when I saw it Labor Day weekend.

I'm not sure what I'm more excited about...........the improved hunting or actual ladders on the bunk beds! It took a trampoline to get up on those bunks in the trailer!

I hear ya! Nothing like trying to craw into those top bunks without touching the ceiling! These new bunks are nice and I understand that now each of them has it's own shelf for eyeglasses/cell phones/pills/etc. A nice little touch someone recommended during our trip.

I'm really surprised nobody took a picture of the two bathrooms, they are really nice. The guesthouse also has a tankless water heater so the 8th guy into the shower gets just as much hot water as the first. The heater seems to keep up with both showers running at the same time too.

I can't wait to read about the Fa Kow Ee hunt when the time comes!
