I googled it. Ad does not say which 3 profiles you.
It might actually be worth it if they where the profiles you want.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm intrigued. It is really spendy though for sure. It would have to give me factory quality die cuts as good as a Trueflight to justify it for me. I use lots of Bohning stuff and it looks well made. Maybe they'll put up a video of the unit in action.

That is what I am thinking. It would be nice to get nice consistent chops on my feathers. I have not been able to find any real info on it yet. I am guessing that it is a new product...

Have you tried a little chopper?
As long as I cut them to length first I get very consistent chops.
...could darn near buy a bow with the savings...just sayin..

I have not been cutting them to length before I chop them. I will try that on the next ones that I chop. Thanks for the idea!

No problem.

I find as long as I don't chop through the bases my feathers turn out great.
You'll want to put some sort of index mark on the chopper...I just use a sharpie line..then just slide your feather to the line and bang one out. You can also just sorta lower the top while positioning the feather too...

When I cut them to length I also like to angle my exacto pretty shallow so the leading edge of the base has a nice taper.
I just straight cut the back.

Used to sand the leading edge, but found out the razor does just as well..and is a bunch easier and faster.

I am sure, now that you mention it, that the bases are what is causing my inconsistencies. I use different brands of feathers, natural wild turkey and domestic...

Thanks again,

It looks a lot like the one that Bearpaw put out a few years ago. It was spring loaded and never cut the feather all the way through. It didn't have that hefty of a price though.
