Help with Goldtips and Tiger Sharks!

I need help!  What do you do to the incerts and arrows to get them ready for glueing.  I glued an incert into a Goldtip Traditional yesterday and thought I gave it enough time to glue.  Well I took the arrow out for some bare shaft tuning and when I shot the arrow the incert came out in the target.  What should I have done to insure that the incert was going to stay in? And if you have any suggestions for glue then please coment. I also have some 130 grain tiger sharks that I want to mount onto the gold tips.  The bow that I will be shooting them out of is  56 inch, 48lbs. Treadway longbow.  Do you think that the 3355 Goldtip Traditionals could handle all of that weight up front?  And has anyone had any experience with mounting tiger sharks onto adaptors?

I use Arizona Archery epoxy.. Then after cutting the carbons I use a snall round file and lightly abrade the interior of the shaft.. Next i rough the insert with a bit of emory.. Then clean both with denatured alcohol.. Mix the epoxy and glue em up, wipe off excess...  Let em set overnight at least.. They will be permanent.

I use a cotton swab and acetone to clean the inside of the arrow shaft and the insert. I then left both dry for an hour. Then I mix up my epoxy, apply it and put the inserts in place I then give them a full 24 hours to cure in a warm room aka one without AC.
Another tip I take one arrow and make it up with enought weight to get me at 250 grains up front. I shoot it and add weight through the back of the shaft with the long wrench until I get as heavy up front as I can and get the near perfect flight I am after. Then once that is done I add the weight to all the inserts and then glue them in and no more messing with the long wrench.

Yep, I've tried lots of different glues due to inserts pulling out and epoxy is the way to go on carbons.

As far as weight up front, don't worry, I'm shooting almost the same set up 56" 52# and need 225 up front for them to spine correctly when cut to 29".(since you are shooting less weight I have a feeling your best flight will be with just as much up front)  Consider  using the 100 grain steel adapter with glue on heads. Although that seems like alot of the weight up front, they fly great and really don't drop like you think they might.
