It will make the quiver sit a little lower and closer to your back. Maybe this picture will help my above comment make sense.

I'm glad you got that figured out. I was puzzled by the hole pattern, it just didn't make sense.
Now, do as slim_grim suggested and flip the top strap over, it will fit you 100% better.
