Spy Photo Revealed
« on: September 14, 2007, 06:53:00 PM »
My woods spy has been keeping it's eyes on the deer herd for me. It has sent me a photo of this little buck which only has a few spots left. In another few weeks you'll only be able to see them down the spine if the light is right.

Mickey,,, you know a year or so ago, I saw a doe and her fawn...

I have this on film!   :readit:

The doe still had the spots straight down each side of the spine and the spots were distinctive any any light.

I have never seen that before in my life.

I tried getting pics of the does eating my crab apples tonight. Not enough light...One was gray as could be the other still reddish brown.
Nice pic. I hope to getting in the woods to take a few myself...

Always wanted to put one of them "Tree Spies" in the tree next to a buddy's tree stand. I can only imagine his reaction when the sun came up..

Thats a healthy little buck, Mickey. I watched a fawn doe last weekend for 15 minutes under my stand. She was quite poorly with  every rib showing. This guy is quite handsome.    Pat

My advice would be to NOT pick a spot on that one. Hap

Mickey,

This was a day or two after you visited. So it was tuesday or Thursday. The fawn looks very small. Heck the doe isn't very big either.
