As. Coues report

I know there are some TG hunting Coues in Az and was wanting to get a report. Want to do a DIY next year. Whip you had any luck with javi ?

Here are a few pics from this January.  This is the one that got away.  At one point I was 80 yds. from this guy.  This is the one I was able to stalk and kill.

I have successfully hunted whitetails, mulies and blacktails.  The Coues has to be the prettiest-altho a blacktail with the black face is close.  I sa some when javelina hunting about 28 years ago-on my bucket list since

That is a big Coues in the first pictures! I have always wanted to go for those, must be very tough!

I hunted AZ for coues earlier this month.  Had a blast saw several deer but came home with a tag.  Hopefully I will be back in August or September to try again.  I hunted just north of Willcox.

I think what I will do with my next thread is try to show the shear variety of terrain these little guys call home.

Would love to take a coues deer...lived in az for a while but never saw one...its on my bucket list tho..plus i have family in az too    :readit:

Just got in from a camping trip in Coues country. This is what I saw the most of…
But, I was lucky enough to see this guy. I think he is pretty good for a Coues. They are little bitty guys, and ghostly in their environs. They would be fun to hunt.
