These are the flitemate version. They have been off the market for a while.I believe this version is a bit longer than the ones 3 Rivers sells.

It would also be nice if the back end of the taper was the full 11/32, I believe most folks foot their carbons these days and on a 5/16 that is either a 2117 or 2216. If the insert butted in to the footing as well as the end of the shaft it would be that much stronger. I mentioned this because in the photo the shoulder of the taper looks quite shallow.

Bill, I switch back and forth from broad heads to field points to squirrel point during the year. So personally I wouldn't have interest in them for that reason alone. Also you would need to have multiple shaft diameters I am assuming.

How can you make these, don't you have a hvac unit to pay for?

I use those with my field points as well as my broad heads , much easier to get both to preform the same . Never had a problem with them and I don't have to keep tightening my field points all the time or put some type of thread locker on them .

I'm with Westbrook,,  make the taper 11/32 on the big end  and make them out of steel weighing 125 or so.

I just started looking into using these. I see 3 Rivers has them in brass 100 and 125gr options for 5/16 shaft.
How will yours be different?

The one pictured is for an aluminum arrow. Thats why the diameter of the taper is so close to the diameter of the half that goes into the shaft.

I will not be making these adapters. They are flitemate adapters which are no longer made. They have agreed to make us a special run of them if I can get enough interest in them.

Onions, This version is longer than the ones 3 Rivers has. If there is not enough interest in this or they can not beat 3 Rivers price. Then I will just get the ones 3 rivers sells. All I'm trying to do is bring back a great product at a competitive price.
