Stalker appreciation

I know this has been talked about recently but I like to tip my hat to a good product when I can, especially a bow builder. I recently grabbed a stock Stalker Wolverine to try my hand at recurves again and almost immediately tried to sell it due to the difference it offered compared to my longbows. Thankfully the bow market is terrible right now and nobody purchased it because I've been shooting it for the last week or two and am absolutely hooked. For anyone out there considering a Stalker I say give it a go. Mine if officially off the market and will hog hunt this spring, elk hunt in september, and kill whitetails the rest of the season.

I hear ya, I love mine. best bow ive ever shot. and at first I didn't like it either. just wasn't consistant. finally twisted the string a bit, gave it a bit more brace height (hiding my terrible form a bit lol), and presto. a smooth, quiet, accurate rocket launcher!

I picked up a Stalker Wolverine off the classifieds here about a week ago. I've been shooting the bow almost every day and gotta say I'm loving it. The grip feels like it was made for me and the bow is smooth, accurate, fast and quiet. As soon as South gets back from his trip I'm gonna have him build me a set of static tip limbs for it.

I have Custom Scout that I bought off the site last year. I think the Scout is now the Wolverine. It is an excellent bow. Smooth and quick - absolutely dead in the hand.
