T/D longbow owners??

I have a question for those who own a 3 piece longbow. What length is your risers, how long are the limbs, and what is the limb pad angle. I am trying to build one myself and any info would help, thanks.

16 in riser would be a good place to start.
riser to notches in limbs 22 inches for a 60 in bow. 23 for a 62, 24 for a 64.

Like Steve, I like 16 " riser. I use 12* pads on mine...

I have a 19" riser on a 62" bow, but don't know the rest of the info.

I build two, an 18" and a new 16". Same limbs on both (62-66"; 60-64") My favorite so far is the 16" riser and 64" overall bow. I draw 31" and no stack or finger pinch, good speed, nice and light but still steady. Limb pads are around 16* or so, final bow has about 1 3/4" reflex. Not as stable as the 18"/66", but with a bow quiver I wasn't really noticing much.

Limb pad angle will depend on the limb design , how much deflex, how much reflex and where the reflex is located. I have built top mount bows with from zero pad angle to 19 degrees.  My suggestion would be to have about 3/4 in deflex and from 1 1/2 to three inches reflex in the limb.
You can order a pattern from Binghams that will give you a good bow to start and then work from there cause one thing is guaranteed. You will not just build one bow. Its too much fun and too much investment in setting up for the first one. Plus you always think you can do better the next time.

I prefer a 14" riser and a 64" bow. Looks like the limbs are the same length 28.5" and I have no idea about the angles.

Might be a silly question for Steve or Kenny but is each limb pad 12* or is that both equal 12*(6* a piece)

The limb bed angle is 3 degrees, we are both shooting 64" ACS 3 pc. TD's.  I measured my limbs too, 28.5" to the string grooves.

Limb pad angle on my top mount three piece is 3 degrees also. However a lot of bows have steeper pad angles. Pad length is from 3.5 to 4 inches on my bows depending on riser length.
If you are reading these I would suggest Binghams video kit and longbow floorplan. It will get you on the right track for your first bow. Course I watched the video and did my own thing anyway LOL. However the video did help a bunch with the process./
