I found this set up to work very well. I can carry arrows and some items needed.

For me the bow quiver is the best way hands down.

I use and prefer a EFA bow quiver for hunting, but I use a plains style quiver for off season practice and during 3-D events. The bow quiver adds mass weight to my HH longbows, and I've never noticed a negative when shooting. I'll leave the quiver on my bow, with arrows, throughout the hunting season. I just like the convenience of a bow quiver when a second/follow-up shot is needed, which I must admit is not very often.   :campfire:

I'm a bow quiver guy, but I do love to ogle beauties like the one foxbo posted. I can see myself using one like that while carrying a longbow through the deer woods.

I use a catquiver most times but on some of the LBs do prefer a bow quiver just to add some ballast.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

...O well , probably misspelled something in the first post anyways  ;)

Never liked bow quivers much . Although after getting used to them they will not effect your shooting ...Just never cared for all that flash of movement a bow with quiver attached present . That and the extra weight , lack of arrow protection ...etc..
Although no quiver will be "Perfect" for all hunting and shooting conditions , for me I find a side-quiver the most compatible with my style of hunting .  A well built and designed quiver will protect you and your arrow , be light and comfortable , tough , and most importantly allow the archer to get arrow from quiver to string quickly with little movement .

No one quiver will do it all , but it sure is hard to beat a good side-quiver for hunt-ability .
Arrows are the Life-Blood of a hunt........They need a safe place to be until called upon  !
