Hello Again & Tall Tines Question
« on: February 16, 2014, 06:33:00 PM »
All,

Hello again, I have not been on the forum in a few years (life got in the way) and I am getting back into it again!

That said...does anyone have an idea what the current wait time for a Tall Tines recurve is? I have tried to get a hold of Brian the last two days but I imagine he is busy. Thanks for the help. Good to see this is the same old site it was when I left! Cant say the same for a lot of things these days!

Pretty sure he's getting them done faster than in the past. Bet you'd get it sooner than you think….just a guess!

He is busy finishing up my BOW's I hope!!!!  Email is the best way to get him as his phone does not have service in his shop. Whatever the wait is it is well worth it. And welcome back!!

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! I just ordered a Trails End Good Medicine and will have to wait a year (worth it by the looks of it) for that one.

I ran across Brian's page after I ordered the TE and have to have one of those as well!

Thanks again!

You will not be disappointed with the trails end and might want to consider his medicine point.  Check the thread on Dale Dye bows and you will see my latest.

No matter what the wait time for a Tall Tines is, the bow is well worth the wait.  I've found the best way to reach Brian is by Email.

Two of my favorite bows a TT curve and a TE.  You won't go wrong with either bow and both will be worth there wait.

Wolf,

Brian works hard at keeping the wait under 6 months.  I believe he is at 4 months right now.  I am picking up a new hybrid at the end of this month.

Whatever the wait is, you have chosen one of the best you can get. Congrats!

Bummer!! Brian emailed me back and due to some work related schedule changes he is not taking any custom orders for a while. I was really trying to get my hands on one before the fall. Do these pop up in the classifieds often? I imagine not...

There's a couple in the Classifieds right now.

Well that stinks.. I have a call in and emailed Brian as well. I imagine that will be the same answer I get. I don't care how long it takes. I would wait a couple years if I needed to..

Hey guys.  I've got some work changes going on in the near future and will need to step back from taking on more orders right now.  I'm going to get caught up on the custom orders right now as well as finish out several stock bows that I have in the works.  Once I get the new schedule worked out I'll feel more comfortable taking on new orders.  I certainly don't mean to keep anyone in the dark, I just need to make sure I'm fulfilling the obligations I have at this time.  I will have several stock bows available in the next couple weeks.  I'll be posting them up when they are finished.  Thanks,
Brian

Brian,

No worries, thanks for the reply and info. I will definitely be placing an order when you are ready to receive. Your bows look amazing and the reviews speak for themselves. Best to you and yours!
