Finished Twin Forward Riser Hill Styles
« on: February 16, 2014, 07:48:00 PM »
Just finished these two up. One righty and one lefty. Both are 64" and 50# @ 28". They're backset with the forward riser. No, they're not strung backwards   :D  . Osage riser with some phenolic. The limbs are a combination of sassafras and walnut. Belly sassafras is stained walnut.

Some very nice bows you created there Dave. Let us know how well they perform. See you at the banquet.

Thanks for the comments, fellas. Tony, I plan on taking these to the banquet. I want to show them at the banquet and then arrange to raffle one off (choice to winner left/right) at Baltimore in May. Proceeds to TBM. I'm thinking of pulling the winning ticket at the dinner on Saturday night. At least that's my plan for now.

On how they shoot I can only speak for the right handed bow. I can't shoot a lick left handed. I know it's just my opinion but it seems to have excellent cast and shoots both GT 3555's and 1916's really well.

They're beautiful, but I just can't get use to that backwards effect. :)

My 3 favorite hardwoods and love the reverse handle Hill's. Great bows, hatrick!
