Arrow for new bow?
« on: September 17, 2007, 02:15:00 AM »
Well I'm looking for arrows again...the Beman MFX Classic's might be a bit too short to start with for my new Kota.

Looks like I'm pulling my Kill-um to just about 30" (because the deeper handle) so since the bow is #[email protected]" what would you suggest for arrows. Looking at what either 1916's or 2016's cut to around 31". Plus I think I can get a good deal on some aluminum shafts if I look around. Shooting with 125 tips.

I'd like to stick with my Beman's but I think the raw shaft is just a touch over 31" and if the bow likes them a bit longer I'm not going to be able to use them.

Anyone know how long Carbon Express Heritage shafts are? What do people think of that line of arrows? I know the Easton aluminum arrows come close to 34" from the factory so that wouldn't be a problem.

Just a thought.

Did I put this in the wrong forum?  Anyone that can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I was looking for arrow size recommendations...I think 2016's would be good but I'm not sure.

2016s should work with a 125 head.

thanks for the help...my darn long draw get me in trouble sometimes.

I'm going to pick up some 2016's when I get a chance.
