Do static limbs require a stiffer arrow?
« on: February 18, 2014, 03:43:00 PM »
I have my first static limb bow on order(stalker stick bows). Same weight as my other bows 52-3@27 and wondered if the static performance limbs require a stiffer arrow? Hmmm....
As we get older our bow weight goes down and our body weight goes up, One of Lifes little jokes.

I found that going from dynammic to static on my stalker did not require much of a change.

In fine tunning I ended up 1/4 shorter.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

I have found no need to change my spine but my experience factors in what old goat2 said.
