Husband and Wife hunt together
« on: February 18, 2014, 09:18:00 PM »
This husband and wife were out hunting together and the woman hadn't filled her deer tag yet .

They were in the same blind and they spotted a huge buck about 30yds.out but it was behind some thick branches .

The man said " I will carefully pull the branch out of your way and you can shoot .

" She said " I am not sure that will work . I would rather wait for it to get into the open . "

He said " you are an excellent shot with your longbow and I know you can make the shot . "

So she drew back , let fly, and the arrow touched a twig just next to her husband causing the broad head to hit him in the neck . He died almost immediately .

A few years go by and she has remarried a man that was a traditional archer as well .

They were out hunting together and a huge buck comes by but it is blocked by a branch .

Her new husband says " I will pull this branch out of the way and you can get a shot . "

She says " NO ! I can't do it ! "

He says " Sure you can your an excellent shot . "

" No ! " She says , very obviously upset and shaking .

Whats wrong ? he asked .

She said " The last time I tried to take a shot like that it was the worst day of my life . "

He asked " What happened that was so terrible ? "

She replied " I missed the biggest buck I had ever seen and didn't even get a second shot at it . "

A perfect example of why not to have a wife as a hunting partner.

Could have been worse. She could have killed both her first husband AND the buck and had nobody there to share it with.
