I used them for years and I have only one complaint and that is that Zwickeys rust quickly. No question about their effectiveness and design. Still have some and would not hesitate using them.    :thumbsup:

You can see from the pic above, that the way most guys sharpen the Eskimos, they'll lose the convex curvature as that edge becomes mostly straight.  No harm in that, just an observation.  I try to retain that convex configuration, just for looks I guess?  It is easier to sharpen a straight edge though!

I have Zwicky Eskimoes on my cedar arrows.
Once you get the hang of it (burr on, burr off, repeat with decreasing pressure) you can indeed get them shaving sharp with a file very quickly and easily. Their construction is simple and rock-solid too.

Deer 2, 3, 4, and 5 were Zwickey Eskimos (1st deer was one of Dad's old Blue Zwickey Delta's).  Great head!
