Just a normal difference between an endless loop and a Flemish twist string in my opinion

Looks OK to me too. I make my own so I adjust the loops to fit the bow I've made.
Smaller loops for skinned limbs.

Shouldn't be a problem, but there is also no reason that the loops on the Flemish couldn't be made the same size as those on the endless in the picture. I prefer to make mine where the top loop is small enough to stay put after unstringing so you don't need a string keeper.

I like to get a measurement of the limb width 6-7 inches down from the tip when making strings just to ensure a better fit.
Take care,

i make my bottom loop smaller- so it stays in the nock after un stringing, and the top loop big enough, as jasper said- so that it can slide down the limb- which is about 7cm "circumference" for my bows.
whilst building my bows i also open up the nock a bit on the sides and belly- on the tip side- so that at full draw, my loops is unaffected by the nock groove- easy for the nock to slide from a braced to a full draw- less wear and tear on the loop.
the only string i ever had break- happened there, where the nock groove wore through the string, in a few shots on a new bow- yup the edge was too sharp - an unfinished bow- but now that wont happen again.

I always make the loops smaller for a long bow cuze long bow limbs are pretty much always skinnier than recurves..and yes it is dangerous to have the loops too big..the string will come off at release. It has happened to me..and its pretty scary and could do some serious damage..thats way I like to have the bow so I can match the string to the bow..u shouldnt have to file on the bow unless it has sharp edges..never to fit a string to the bow..get someone to make a string to match the bow..u might do some real damage filing on the bow..the right string is cheaper than a new bow..

I have had loops that were to big come of longbows like Broke N Arrow said.

Anyways I prefer as small a loops as possible on both the top and bottom limb. The top loop should be made as suggested above to be able to slide down the limb when unstringing

I like my bottom loop just big enough to fit over the tip.  Top loop just big enough to slide down the limb unbraced.  I find this small loop size makes the bow much quieter.

Check out OliverStacy strings. I had Josh make me two strings and the loop sizes are perfect. He makes a great string.

You can take the string apart and re twist to change it. If you don't know how find someone close that knows or mail it to one of the vendors.

That's a great idea I'll have the loop opening twisted to fit thanks a lot.
