Ojam 10
« on: March 04, 2014, 07:34:00 PM »
It is hard to believe that we are up to Ojam 10 but it will be here before we know it.  Mark your calendars for March 20-23rd.

With Ojam right around the corner I want to invite anyone with seasoned staves to consider joining us as a vendor.

It looks as if we may only have one vendor supplying staves and we'll need many more than what he has ready to supply all the folks wanting to build selfbows at Ojam X.

If you are interested in being a wood vendor shoot me a pm and I'll get you hooked up. Vendors MUST register and early registration is the best way to get a secure spot.

Vendors may show up and register at the event but there is no guarantee a spot will be available unless you preregister.

I hope you to see you there!

It stands for Oklahoma Selfbow Jamboree. I think they probably dropped the "S" for selfbow just because it "rolls off the tongue" better as OJAM.

I can't wait for it to start. I'm hoping to finish the bow that I started last year and maybe learn some flint knapping.

I can't help with the staves, but I sure hope someone can, because it's a great time and it's even more fun when you're building a bow. Hopefully someone can bring enough that everyone who wants to try it, can.

We've got several wood vendors coming and it looks like the weather is supposed to cooperate which means lots of folks will be making selfbows by this time next week!
