I liked it.  Were they gobbling on their own or were you doing some calling?  We still have several feet of snow on the ground here in the Yooper so it will be sometime before I get out to scout out the local birds.  Best of luck to all you this spring.

Habujohn. They were gobbling on there own. I was not making a peep. It's considered one of the 10th commandments not to call to a bird before opening day!! I don't want him getting the upper hand on me.

Wow, I've still got 3 feet of snow in some fields and for sure in the woods.  Our ten day forecast has one day above 30 degrees, so I don't think we're going to loose much snow cover in that time period.  Our birds are having a tough winter and I'm afraid the turkey hunting might be a little tough compared to what you've got on that video.  Good luck with the birds.

Great footage!  Thanks for posting RTH!  Sounded like they started to putt there at the very end of the video?

Paul there was a group of deer than was behind me stomping a bit.  Once the turkeys saw the nervous deer the putted a bit. They settled down and moved over the hill I watched them another 30 min behind me strutting the whole time
