Been practicing with my Dryad (I tillered it from one of their BBO blanks). When I finished it, it had a slight positive tiller and shot well. I had put at least 100 arrows through the thing before I finished it, and the tiller wasn't changing. So I finished it.
I'm noticing now that the positive tiller is increasing. (I hope I'm defining positive tiller properly - top limb bends more than the bottom is my understanding of positive tiller.) After shooting it again tonight I popped it back onto the tiller tree and it is 1 inch positive now. In other words when I pull it to my draw (28 inches), the top limb pulls 1 inch further than the bottom.
So now I'm wondering if this bow is worth using to hunt? It seems to shoot ok - I took out a dandilion at 15 yards tonight, but don't want to waste time practicing with the thing if it's gonna be toast half-way through a hunt.
Opinions?
