New Maddog Recurve
« on: March 21, 2014, 09:43:00 PM »
Just switched from hybrid and r/d longbows and I love thing. Shoots flatter than my other bows, no hand shock and fairly quiet considering I've only shot arrows not really tuned to the bow.  After dealing with Mike Mecredy on this bow my only problem is now I have to sell something to get another one of his creations.

Very attractive.

I'm already thinking about the woods I want when I order a praire pred.  The more I shoot this bow the more I love it, I can't believe how flat this thing shoots.  Anybody on the fence over ordering one of Mike's should get on it. The one variable I wasn't sure I would like is the grip on the recurve, but I find it to be very comfortable and repeatable.

Looks good. I love the look of those limb veneers. Really pops with the light riser. Congrats on the bow.

I can honestly say I've never been happier than with this setup I have now.  Everybody knows Mike makes great bows, but he also makes the process very fun and rewarding.  As much as I love this bow I can't wait for my next Maddog creation.
