They sparked my interest as well and a guy at work sold me some he never got around to using. This pic was after a few shots in a broadhead target.

I'm gonna continue to spend the few extra bucks and shoot my 2 and 3 blade vpa's. May have just been a bad head and I'm sure there are people that have had success with them.

The first bull I shot with my compound was with this head.  It was probably a bad shot as he was quartering to and moving, however I took it.  The arrow went in kinda back ang got one lung, it then went directly into the far side hip joint.  The bull walked thirty yards and was probably dead before he hit the ground.  The head had completely exploded the hip joint and severed the femoral artery.  Although it was dulled there was no other damage to the head.  That being sad I think you could use a vpa and achieve greater durability.

It is my understanding that these are one of the heads made from powdered metal that is formed with heat and pressure.  I also believe that stainless steel contributes to brittleness.

Shot a lot of game (deer) with them and Snuffers and Woods mans with a good shot they leave great blood trails. Hell Razors andSS Snuffers  are easier to get sharp and are easier to get on your shaft straight. I have never had one fail. They are not powdered metal that a different brand and they are not good. I have shot just about every three blade over the last fourty years!:-)

I have to say that I have nothing but positive experiences with the Hellrazers. I have shot numerous hogs in very rocky terrain and I have never had a failure even after bouncing off of rocks.

There great heads. But they come dull in my opinion. Sharpen them up and you got a good broadhead. I have killed a bunch of deer with them.

I've only shot one animal (an elk) with them so far, but I'm impressed and plan to keep using them.  They are laser welded like the RazorCaps.  The broken one above looks like it was brittle.  Maybe it got overheated during manufacturing or something.  I found them to be very sharp from the package and with a few strokes on a ceramic stick they were crazy sharp.  They seem to hold a good edge too.  I like them so far but time will tell.   Rick.

Yes, it busted right at the weld and they are easy to get very sharp. I'm sure it was probably a defected head.

I bought some when my local sporting goods store was closing them out at half price($17.50 for a 3 pack). I figured what the heck. They were VERY sharp out of the pack. Flew good, very easy to get them re-sharp. I even took them to Africa last August.  I didn't take any big game w/ them, but I did shoot a big porcupine w/ it. I like them.

I've shot them,  I had one to break in a rotten log.  I've hit the same log with other heads and had no issues.  Mine where a little duller than I like,  but nothing a wheelie sharpener wouldn't fix. I don't think there as tough as 3 blade snuffer.
